Join the vibrant Festival of the Chariots Parade on Sunday August 4th! The parade begins at Pico & Main St. (10 AM) in Santa Monica, proceeding down Main Street, then making a turn onto the Venice Beach Boardwalk. The chariots sail down the Boardwalk until reaching the festival site at Windward Plaza

GETTING TO THE PARADE START
The parade begins at the intersection of Pico Blvd & Main St in Santa Monica, near the Santa Monica Civic Center
PARK AT CIVIC CENTER PARKING STRUCTURE
Parking in the Civic Center Parking Structure will be $5.00 for the entire day and is an approximately 10-minute walk to the parade start.
After the parade and festival, you can take the Big Blue Bus Line #1 from the bus stop on Main Street and Market Street to 4th Street and Pico Blvd. to return to your car. You can also take an Uber/Lyft from the festival site back to the parking location.

PARK AT LOT 3 SOUTH
Parking is also available at Lot 3 South Parking for $15.00 a day and is an approximately 10-minute walk to the parade start.

After the parade and festival, you can take the Big Blue Bus Line #1 from the bus stop on Main Street and Market Street to Main Street and Bay Street to return to your car. You can also take an Uber/Lyft from the festival site back to the parking location.

TAKE METRO FROM TEMPLE
Take the Metro E Line (Gold) from the Palms station (12-minute walk from the temple) to the Downtown Santa Monica Station (15-minute walk to the parade start location). Trains depart every 10-15 minutes.
PARK NEAR THE FESTIVAL SITE IN VENICE
Another option is to park near the Venice Beach Festival site (Where Windward meets Ocean Front Walk) at the public and private lots that charge $20 to $45 for the day.
You can then take the bus to the parade start near the auditorium. The Big Blue Bus Line #1 runs north on Main St. from the bus stop on Main Street and Market Street. Get off at Pico Boulevard and walk 2 minutes to the Civic Auditorium. The parade start can also be reached via Uber/Lyft.​
Metro trains run every 10-15 minutes and the fare is $1.75.
Big Blue Bus runs every 15-20 minutes and the fare is $1.10 per person.
